It installs easily on most ballistic shields measuring 1/4 to 3/4 of an inch thick, and its high-output LED generates 1,500 lumens of powerful illumination shaped by a precision Hybrid beam reflector optimized for medium- to long-range visibility and situational awareness. The BSL-A disrupts the night-adapted vision of potential aggressors and allows for strategic peeking around corners without backlighting the user. Its Dual Fuel design affords you the versatility of using the included rechargeable 18650 lithium-ion battery or two 123 lithium batteries for power. Our intuitive switching incorporates a pressure switch for momentary-on control and a click-through constant-on switch for unmanned shield placement. Precision-machined of aerospace-grade aluminum, O-ring sealed, and Mil-Spec hard-anodized for durability, the BSL-A's rugged body can withstand tremendous punishment, including submersion in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. Every BSL-A also includes a rubber cover and protective lens to prevent damage when used with training rounds. It is built to perform no matter how demanding the mission.
