Its high-performance LED with a faceted MaxVision® reflector creates a wide, smooth beam optimized to your field of vision, and its pushbutton On/Off switch and variable-light output dial permit one-handed adjustment from 5 to 300 lumens. A hard-anodized aerospace aluminum housing keeps this headlamp lightweight and durable, while its custom-made headband provides a comfortable and secure fit, with or without a helmet. The Minimus is ideal for tinkering in a workshop, exploring remote areas, and everything in-between.

    1. High quality build. 2. CR123 batteries are the best. 3. The user interface (basically a rheostat) is the best. Lets you easily dial in the light intensity and angle you need. Other lights require complex taps and clicks which get cumbersome. 4. I do vote for an over-the-head strap. There is a slot for it.

    What a great headlamp! A definite improvement over previous versions of the Minimus. The beam is clean, warm and floody - perfect for the majority of outdoor applications. Fit and finish are immaculate. Entire kit is solid, light and very comfortable on the head. UI is easy to use and understand. Description doesn't mention it, but includes the red diffuser. THIS is the Minimus I've been waiting for. Well done, Surefire. Well done!
