Constructed from aerospace-grade aluminum with a Mil-Spec hard anodized finish, every Scout Light is O-ring sealed, IPX7 waterproof rated, and built to endure the harshest combat environments. Key Differences Explained
White light Scout Lights provide high-output visible illumination for any application. Vampire (V) variants emit both visible white light and infrared illumination, designed for use with night vision devices. In IR mode, the beam is invisible to the naked eye, preserving tactical position while enabling full NVG-assisted target identification.
The M340 series runs on a single CR123A battery for a compact, lightweight footprint — ideal for SBRs, PDWs, and weight-conscious builds. The M640 series uses two CR123A cells (or an 18650 in Dual Fuel models), delivering more output and longer runtime at the cost of added length. Both share the same PRO mount system and tailcap interface.
Lumens measure total light output; candela measures peak beam intensity and throw. Standard Scout Lights prioritize balanced lumens for CQB situational awareness. Turbo models sacrifice some flood for massive candela output, punching through photonic barriers and illuminating targets well beyond 300 meters. Match the beam type to your engagement distances.
Standard models run exclusively on 123A lithium primaries. Dual Fuel variants accept either two 123A batteries OR a single SureFire SF18650B rechargeable cell, extending runtime to nearly three hours. Dual Fuel models also typically offer higher peak output when running on the 18650, making them the most operationally flexible option.
