    I took a chance on this as there aren't any reviews or anything else out there, but my existing Surefire lights are all rather bulky on my otherwise sleek Sig MCX Rattler. I haven't shot with it yet, but here are my initial impressions. It's built solidly, just like all Surefire products and is all aluminum other than the lens, of course. The mount is reversible for lefty shooters like me. The shoulder screw says to tighten to 5 in/lbs but took a bit more than that to be secure. The light is definitely optimized for short range, indoor use as it's much broader than the focused pattern of the X300 lights, for example and floods the whole room. The 300 lumens is brighter than expected and plenty for room clearing and other interior, close range work that the intended use firearms. The push button works well with tactile differences between both settings. Very pleased with my purchase and now my Rattler is once again an extremely sleek package.
