Long time Surefire customer. Just got the new E1B with MaxVision.I got to say Impressive! Light weight but definitely strong and well made. It's definitely a room or field filler, awesome led and pleasing to the eyes. Decent run time and and an excellent finish. It's now my EDC light. Runs on Surefire's trusted batteries but you can put rechargeable in the light, just the run time won't be as long. Check with Surefire's customer service for more info. This light is definitely a winner & affordable. I added a Z68 tail cap for a lanyard.

I've been a longtime Surefire customer ever since I bought a 6P back in the 1990's. I've owned many Surefire flashlights including the E1B, and EB1 in the Backup line. Without a doubt the new Maxvision E1B is my favorite EDC light. The output of 400 lumens on high is stunning and the 5 lumens on low is perfect for walking around, doing paperwork etc. I was initially worried the 5 lumen low level wouldn't be bright enough but after I received the light, it's perfect! The beam tint is a nice white and the Maxvision beam is smooth and perfect for close/medium range. All said this lights a keeper and a sure classic flashlight that lives up to the original E1B!

This is the light I've been hoping Surefire would produce. This is the perfect EDC light. Built like a tank. Backed by some of the best customer service in the industry. The new maxvision beam produces the best floody light - tint is excellent... 400 Lumens on high with the first click, 5 Lumens on low for the second click. Low setting is just enough light for all my basic tasks, especially when I have to get up during the night. Surefire brought back that classic knurling that we all loved. This looks like the classic Surefire lights that initially attracted me to these lights. THANK YOU SF for this light! Please keep this light around! Just bought a second one to keep in my go bag.
