P61 Bulb

Use this light with red lens cover to fly with NVGs. Got replacement bulb quickly and with no problems. Thanks SureFire.

Although expensive for a bulb, it is worth it. My last bulb lasted 5 yrs. and went through a lot. This new and upgraded bulb is very bright. Like it very much.

P61 is a great lamp. However would like to see Sure Fire design a higher lumen lite using AA batteries.

What can one say. It's a lamp. A while lot brighter (and hotter), but still it's a lamp

Do not use rechargeable LFP 123A batteries with the P61 lamp assembly or with other incandescent illumination tools. See Restrictions below.

The P61 incandescent lamp assembly produces 120 lumens of white light with a 20 minute runtime.

NOTE: SureFire lights that use P60 or P61 lamps can be upgraded to a 120-lumen LED light with twice the tactical runtime (compared to the P60 lamp) or six times the tactical runtime (compared to a P61 lamp) by installing a KX4 or KX4D LED conversion head.

[NSN: 6240-01-521-4822]

Fits: 6-volt incandescent flashlights and WeaponLights with a 1.25" bezel.

Rechargeable LFP 123A batteries are only to be used to power LED illumination products (built to use 123A lithium batteries) and NOT those featuring incandescent lamps. The initial elevated voltage of these rechargeable batteries, immediately after charging, may cause the filament contained within an incandescent lamp to break or “burn out."
