Fit and Finish Product Design Product Performance Durability Reliability SF Customer Service Overall Value XC 2 Cool
-
Just put the XC2 on my M&P pro series which is my nightstand gun. Great light for indoors at 300 lm and a nice bright red laser dot. But my problem is a year ago I put an XC1 on my Glock 19 and now I am not so thrilled with it anymore. The XC2 is 50 to 100% brighter with a bright red laser to boot and with the new and improved constant on paddles it's just just perfect for my needs. The XC2 is a little pricey but you get what you pay for I believe. Will you take a trade-in on my XC1 towards a new XC2 for my G 19?

Fit and Finish Product Design Product Performance Durability Reliability SF Customer Service Overall Value light review

this is outstanding light laser combo. small, compact, durable. easy battery change out. only thing i have frustration is as of July 2018 Nobody has a holster for inside or outside waistband yet. so,,, I cant use the light as a duty weapon or ccw yet. IT is NOT same dimensions as the XC-1. I would like to see a light have more holster options if it is going to be sold as a ccw or carry option for LEO or civilian when it is unveiled.

Fit and Finish Product Design Product Performance Durability Reliability SF Customer Service Overall Value XC2-A Lightweight and Solid
-
I have looked at so many light/laser combinations and finally purchased the XC2-A (300 Lumens). I mounted it on an Ed Brown FX1 RMR and it fits perfectly. I very gradually tightened the mounting screws twisting the unit back and forth as I slowly took the play out of each screw. The unit mounts solidly with very little tension on the screws. The laser and light cannot be separately activated, but I really don't miss that capability much. The light throws a smooth flood rather than a spot and is plenty bright without reducing night-vision. The battery life is 30 mins which seems short but when using rechargeable AAA batteries it works out very well. Easy to insert a freshly charged battery without removing the light. The surefire AAA NiMH included is 750mah but you can get Panasonic AAA Eneloop Pros at 950 mah for a bit longer run time. Also the laser is positioned close to the barrel for minimum parallax issues. So far I an very happy with the versatility of this light. If you need something for longer distance use outside at night you might want a more of a focused spot type light though.
