Strong Powerful Type

Great design, because it's simple and can fit in a lot of places and on different things. Even comes in a small colorless package. I guess it's a good way to save money. Upon opening this package, it felt just like every other Surefire, like a solid durable piece of equipment. The new style tail-cap is also better.
So a couple of things. First one is I noticed the TIR lens on this particular surefire makes the light beam a little more wide and not as defined as the others I have. The biggest issue I have with this EDCL2-T (first gen 2017-18) is that it is so bright that it gets very warm and begins to get too hot. Yes brighter is better, but I wouldn't leave this particular surefire "on" too long because it will definitely get uncomfortably warm/hot.
