I bought these for protection while shooting, but recently wore them while watching NHRA (drag racing), which is loud enough to set off car alarms a 100 yards away. No problems what-so-ever. Great investment.

Gave this a straight 5 star, but not to be misleading, I haven't had them long enough to comment on reliability, but a close examination brought nothing of concern to light. I also didn't need to contact Customer Service since the order was flawless and the product works as advertised.

I have been using a pair of 3m optime 95's for th last couple years and started getting neck pain and headaches frequently. turns out that the extra weight and looking down into my machine were causing the issue. not only are these incredibly light but do a better job at blocking the sound of the machinery. Showed them to several people at work who now want to order their own. I'm 6'2" and bought the medium size which are a bit small but they work so well that it's worth buying a second set if you don't get the right fit the first time

Started wearing while shooting better than earmuffs more comfortable. Now I wear them at work where hearing protection is mandatory. We have our hearing tested once a year and last year there was no hearing loss compared to previous year. Tester asked what I was doing differently so I showed him the EP3 Sonic Defenders he was going to go out and get a set for himself. I wear them all day with out any issues. Also wear them at home while doing yard work using power equipment.

I discovered Surefire Ear Pro during one of my deployments. After that, I have never used anything else. From IEDs to small arms fire, this hearing protection works phenomenally well.
They are, also, extremely durable. I think I purchased my first set around 2006. I used the same set through multiple deployments, and just purchased a new set. The originals are still serviceable. I just wanted a back-up set.

Just got these today and went to the range. I was sick of wearing ear muffs and thought I'd try these. What a surprise! Even standing next to a centerfire rifle and shooting a 9mm pistol I was not bothered by noise at all. And they are much more comfortable than muffs. I do high power target shooting and muffs are a royal pain. I'll use these from now on.

The plugs work perfectly, as long as I don't turn or tilt my head. I will be reordering in the size Large as these will not make a reliable seal around my canal. It's not a fault of the design, these are great for my wife I just need bigger ones to get a good seal. Great product that makes the range a lot easier to talk at.
