The rechargeable Peacekeeper has a precision reflector that focuses the LED’s light into a smooth, powerful beam with plenty of peripheral illumination — crucial for police work. The dual-output Peacekeeper unleashes 600 lumens on the first press of the tailcap and then delivers a long-runtime 15-lumen beam on the second press. This dual-fuel light is powered by a single 18650 rechargeable Li-ion battery or two disposable 123A lithium batteries.

Features
  • Virtually indestructible high-output LED regulated to maximize output and runtime
  • Reflector shapes far-reaching beam with intense center and significant surround light for peripheral vision
  • Dual-output tailcap click switch on Peacekeeper (press or click for max output press or click again within two seconds for low output)
  • Coated, tempered window resists impact and maximizes light output
  • Weatherproof—O-ring and gasket sealed
  • Constructed of high-strength aerospace aluminum with Mil-Spec hard anodizing for extreme durability
  • Includes energy-dense 18650 lithium-ion rechargeable battery, AC charger, and DC car charger

PeRfect 1

Of my collection (30+ pieces) of various SureFire, other US made, and Chinese lights, this would be the ONE I'd keep if I had to give up all others. I have the dual mode version, and it's nice to have 2 logical output levels. The beam pattern, color/tint of light, and forward clicky are all nice attributes. The weight, balance, and texture of the light is spot on!

Great flashlight

This flashlight is very well-built. I bought it because it uses rechargeable batteries. Rechargeable batteries is a big deal. The only thing that I would change would be to add a zoom Feature for the lens.

Excellent Patrol Light

I'm a police officer and I have been running this light for about a year now as a primary patrol light, additionally, when im not working it serves well as a EDC light. The switch function was different and took a couple of days to adapt to it. It works great for traffic stops and building searches. I drained the battery during a busy week and was able to quickly get it back up and running with two CR123's. Excellent light, best light I have ever owned or used.

P1R Peacekeeper

Excellent light, all of the quality and value you expect from Surefire.
I have used this light on patrol for the past ten months and it has not failed me once. Great runtime, reliability and compact size. I have used it in one hundred degree weather to negative twenty. Great for building searches, traffic stops, high risk stops/contacts and utility purposes. The duel output is near perfect, combined with the practicality of a 18650 Li-ion rechargeable battery and 123 battery for backup, just in case.

It also doubles as my EDC/Off duty light as well. Having owned and used several Surefire lights for the past decade, the P1R is the most practical, most used and valuable light I have ever owned. If you are looking for a duty light or EDC light look no further. You will not be disappointed. Stay safe.

Bright, Bright, Bright!

I was in the garage of a friend the other night watching TV and telling stories. He had a nice light that another friend and me admired a few months earlier. I put the Spot of my SureFire P1R Peacekeeper on the wall and asked him to do the same with his light. I had to ask my friend, "Where is your light?" His was not visible in the beam of the SureFire light. I moved my bean and then could see his and then covered it up again. Dang good light. I am loving it!

Dual Peacekeeper

Great overal hand size tactical flashlight! Huge upgrade from the G2Z I had been using since the academy in 2009. I like the low light and high output options. Also liked that this flashlight still is able to fit in my original v70 holster.

P1R Peacekeeper

Great little light, very bright. Like that the high function hits first unlike the fury line. Good battery life, would recommend.

Finally!

I couldn't be happier with Surefire finally getting into the 18650 rechargeable game. I haven't bought many Surefire products for a few years because of only being able to use 3v primary batteries or the low capacity LiFe cells.

Yup, another quality light from Surefire. Dual intensity, INTENSITY, light. Momentary and always on capability. Waiting to see on battery life. Rechargeable a spare when they come available would be nice. I also love the way they stand behind their products. Here's a no hesitation thumbs up.

Took me a couple of uses to get the pressure switch down between the two illumination settings, but once I did wow. I wouldn't want to have this light aimed at me without a welding shield on. And heaven forbid you need to use it at close-quarter because you could do some serious damage with the heavy bezel. Great product; highly recommend if you're looking for a dual-purpose light.
