The rechargeable SureFire 2211® WristLight is a lightweight, cutting-edge tool that provides hands-free tactical illumination for a broad range of lowlight scenarios—including use with a handgun. When strapped to your support-side wrist, the 2211 automatically aligns with a handgun when the weapon is held with a standard two-handed grip, projecting sufficient light for threat identification at close to medium range in low light and darkness. The WristLight’s broad MaxVision Beam™, created by a precision faceted reflector that shapes the LED’s output into a seamless wall of white light, is generated at three levels: 300, 60, and 15 lumens. The first two output levels are bright enough to overwhelm an aggressor’s dark-adapted vision, providing a tactical advantage, and the lowest output level is perfect for tasks that don’t require so much light, such as loading gear. The output sequence is user programmable to go from high to low or from low to high, whichever you prefer. There’s even an optional 2211 WristLight Conversion Headstrap accessory (sold separately) that allows you to convert the WristLight into a headlamp, for tasks where you need both hands and the light source a bit farther back, such as working on an engine.

The recoil-proof, virtually indestructible LED’s output is controlled via an easy-to activate, ergonomic pushbutton switch on the WristLight’s rugged polymer body. The LED is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that’s easily charged using an included micro-USB cable—there’s even an integral LED fuel gauge that lets you know when the WristLight needs charging. For the versatility of a variable-output illumination tool that’s always on you because it’s strapped to your wrist, the 2211 is in a class by itself—a class literally created by SureFire!

Great Product!

I have been recommending this product to several people that I have met. It is a one of a kind piece. What I wish for this company to modify with this product is the bracelet. It would be nice if they change it into a rubber one that is almost wearing a regular diver's watch. And to the one with the watch on it, I would recommend a solar power watch so that it won't need a battery replacement. I think if things are done the way I suggested it, you won't be asking for anything more for these kind. Overall it is a well made, and a very good invention!

Best Wristlight so far

This is the best WristLight they have made, so far. The description is well done, so I will just jump to what it doesn't say. There is a perfect beam of light in a cone pattern. No artifacts, holes in the light, flickering or anything else. It appears to have a higher output than any of the other WristLights also. I can see why it took them since January to produce this. Even the band has been improved with it being lighter, more comfortable, and the potentially uncomfortable parts of the Previous bands have been wrapped, to be more comfortable. I wear mine 24/7 and I hardly know it is there. The 2211 WristLight Conversion Headstrap will be next for it.

The one disappointment is that there is NOT an AC adapter included. But the specifications are provided in the Owners manual which is helpful. Since it is 5v 500ma, you can charge from a computer, powered hub, or AC or DC to USB adapter with at least 500 ma. IE: you can use a 5v 1000ma charger or higher, But Not lower milliamp charger, like 5v 200ma charger.

By the way the shipping rates are low and shipping is very fast.

So, you know you want one, Buy it, you will be glad you did.
