I use a 2.25" duty belt so you have to remove the little adjustable clip that comes with it. When you do so, the holster does not fit tight enough, allowing it (holster) to move very easily left and right on the belt. Also, I have quite big hands so it's kind of difficult to grab the flashlight (2 cell) from the holster. I think it would be a better holster without the batteries compartment since that makes it quite bulky. I will return it back.

I still don't understand why the compartment is for three batteries but the holster is designed to hold a two cell flashlight. It's a good concept but in practice it's not that good, at least in my opinion. I will return the holster.

The V85A is a very reliable and duriable holster. It works well with a patrol style duty belt and allows quick access to your light source. In my opinion, a must have.

Good product, does what it's supposed to do, hold small tac lights securely. Just make sure your flashlight is listed because there is no adjustment for larger or smaller diameter lights. I have several different lights and it will only work with listed lights and two cell lights work best. It fits on my duty belt very tightly, no flopping around. A little pricey but worth it.

- V85A Holster
The V85A holster is by far the only good way to carry a high intensity light intended for fast deployment. I'd recommend this highly for LE who usually don't have to worry about total concealment or not at all when in uniform, but not an ideal solution for private citizen concealed carry (my situation when I'm in a state for which I have a valid CCL). I carried this around the house and when camping for six months, so I gave it a fair trial, but I intend to use it only when concealment garments permit. I recommend adjusting the screws so the light is tilted upward about 30 degrees, both for securely holding the light, and for ease of deployment.
