- Great, solid holster.
I am a marine engineer, I carry a torch with me every day at work. I use the AZ2 Combat Light with this holster.
Its a heavy duty holster which securely holds the torch through any abuse.
The ability to insert the torch bezel down is a nice trick, makes deploying the light easy - specially if you have your other hand full (eg holding something up). As noted in other reviews though this does scratch the end of the bezel.
The only down side to it I found was, if you wear a thick belt, then you'll have to file down the channel to allow your belt to fit. Its fine if you wear a thin belt but mine was too thick to pass through.
All in all a great product for my favorite tool, my AZ2!!

- V70 Holster
Work as an armed courier and needed a holster for my Surefire 6P Classic light.
Attached this to a 1.75 inch, nylon, duty belt. Pretty happy with the product. Love how the flashlight can be inserted handle up. Increases the speed that I can use it with my sidearm in low light situations. Turn it around lens down in the daytime for more comfortable carry,
Minuses on this holster:
1. Carrying the light handle up scratches up the bezel around the light.
2. Constantly tightening the slide in the holster that keeps the holster secure to the belt and keeps it from moving up and down.
All in all, great product for what I paid for it.

- Speed Holster
I've worn a Surefire light for 10 years and this holster works great. I am a plumber and always grabbing and putting away the light. No velcro to wear out and the compression fit holds the light perfect.

Since my Federal retirement, I have been the Director of Corporate Security for two major companies. I have used the Surefire flashlights and holsters for about 14 years. I wore the polymer speed holster up side down on my belt with my normal casual attire on the same side I wore my weapon. I liked the fact that I knew I had to draw my weapon up and my light down. It held for years, and then the spring weakened and the light fell out twice breaking the lenses. Surefire replaced the bezel both times, but I have not received my replacement for the holster. Therefore, I use the canvass one and carry it right side up. I liked the polymer one until it broke. I love Surefire products. I find them to be excellent for offensive and defensive use in numerous situations most people would never think about.. They are reliable and the strongest light source I have found in such a small package.

- Good when its not broken
Very satisfied with the product up until the point it broke. I took the flashlight out if the holster and illuminated a suspect I was confronting. During the draw of the light the metal prongs that keep the light in broke. Lost my light in a foot pursuit. V70 needs to be more durable for people who draw and holster it 30-40 times a night.........fix that then it will be the best.

This holster leaves scratches on the flashlight as the flashlight is taken in and out, poor design, in my opinion.

- It works well
It holds your light well. Will not come loose at all.. Takes a little pressure to push in but then your light is secure.
Very happy with all SureFire products!

- Polymer Speed Holster
I'm a 17.5 year police officer in a suburb of Cleveland, OH. Disappointed that the carry design is for bezel up. I have an old 9Z combat light that is about 15 years old at least, which I carried in a similar holder w/ the bezel down. Prefer the bezel down, so I can draw it from the holster and immediately aim it, With the bezel up on this model, I have to rotate it out of the holster. Contacted Surefire and they said there were no other polymer holsters that allow for the bezel down carry. I purchased a Surefire Fury to replace my still working 9Z. The light is absolutely blinding. I have a 5.11 TPT R5 light also. Prefer Surefire flashlights overall.

- Love it
This is a great holster. Provides very quick access whether putting you light away or pulling it out, holds light handle up or down so you can put it however you like. It holds the light very tightly and also has an adjustable belt spacer so you can set it to fit your belt exactly and it doesn't slide around or bounce when you run. the only thing that I would have changed on this holster if could would be to make it hold the light deeper bezel down. as it is right now, just barely over an inch of the light is in the holster when you put it in bezel down and I'm afraid it could fall out like this so I usually holster it handle down.
