Just what I was looking for
I bought this for my law enforcement duty weapon. The product came fast, was easy to install, fit perfect on my Glock 17 gen4,, and is very high quality and durable! I highly recommend! Great job sure fire!

This would be a great product if there was an on/off switch. As is, the light goes on the instant you grip the pistol, whether you want the light on or not. The switch sits in a great spot and allows full proper grip of the pistol, just need a way to turn it on or off when you need it.

I was an avid streamlight customer. I bought an hk USP full size and a tlr1. When I saw I couldn't activate the light due to the elongated trigger guard I contacted streamlight and asked if they made a contoured remote for that specific light they said no just for the glock. I returned the light and bought the x300 and waited a couple weeks for the contoured remote.
I have since placed the weapon and light in service and love the remote. You can go directly from the holster to shooting grip without having any officer safety concerns. I love this setup!

I have a 200 and a 300 on a Glock 19 & 17both with DG switches, and a 300 on a Walther PPQ (actually a DG 20 for a Beretta). I would not consider a weapon mounted light without a DG switch. Without the switch one handed manipulation is much more difficult.

I run these on an M&P 9 and my Glocks (17 & 41). On the Glocks I have found that gluing a small piece of Kydex to the back of the switch makes it much easier to turn on. I'm guessing it's because of the finger grooves on the Glock grip. The switch on the M&P works great.

DUUUUUDE! MAKE A FRIGGIN ON/OFF SWITCH FOR THIS THING!
sounds like the only way to achieve that characteristic is to run x400/x400 ultra. Only problem with that, is the fact that when one owns an HKp30, then there doesn't exist a drop holster which accepts that combination.of light and pistol because of lack of demand, unless you can talk someone into custom making one for you, for that platform...too bad people who do that arent hearing it right now becuase they are so backed up.
Other than that. Good job Navy Seals, and good job surefire. Stop runnin crap America.

Only had it a few weeks, but it's in the holster 90% of the time, always works, and fits perfect!!!

This is the second one of these I've purchased, both have stopped working for an unknown reason, I think the switch shorts out due to wear and tear. When working I love the product very practical. Just frustrating having to replace.

I bought the DG-12 to use on my issued M&P and Safariland holster that accommodates the Surefire X-300 light. The holster does not allow the switch to be used. There isn't enough clearance for the switch. The manufacturer says it's made for the light, not the holster. Now I have a switch that I can't use at all. Useless.
