SureFire is an excellent product with the minor complaint that the incandescent bulb generates considerable heat if left on for what seem relatively short periods. It works well if "flashed" for three or four seconds and left off for similar periods in between. Continuous or frequent repeated usage over an extended period of 4-5 mins generates sufficient heat to make holding it uncomfortable. I strongly suspect that this heat is detrimental to lamp life and battery life. The alternative LED head produces insufficient light to be of much use in searching outdoors, and is wicked expensive.

Do not use rechargeable LFP 123A batteries with the P91 lamp assembly or with other incandescent illumination tools. See Restrictions below.
The P91 produces 200 lumens with a 20 minute run time.
Fits: 9-volt incandescent flashlights with a 1.25" bezel
Rechargeable LFP 123A batteries are only to be used to power LED illumination products (built to use 123A lithium batteries) and NOT those featuring incandescent lamps. The initial elevated voltage of these rechargeable batteries, immediately after charging, may cause the filament contained within an incandescent lamp to break or “burn out."
