I use the P3X Fury for Adventure Racing (Land Nav Racing) to supplement my headlamp and you cannot beat it. The dual output gives me the run-time that I need for multiple night navigation as well as the distance that I need when it is putting out 1000 lumens to see if I am heading towards the right terrain feature. I carry it in the V70 hip holster and have never had it fall out even when it gets caught on branches or vines. Got it wet a few times, no problem. It is heavy, but if you are using it for self defense or policing that is probably what you want. Worth every ounce of weight on my belt!

P3X as EDC
I own a dozen SureFire flashlights and the P3X is the most powerful, high-quality, bombproof illumination tool I have. I carry it everyday with an aftermarket titanium clip fastened to my cargo pants pocket. It's small and light enough that I barely notice it, but it shines like a searchlight, at 1000 lumens, and the low level 15-lumen setting is just enough for normal tasks. Well worth the $.

This is a great light for someone working outside the entire night in all weather conditions. High and low light options are both easily accessed as needed and the size is perfect for someone who carries a lot of other tools and schematics.

Great light. I have been using a UB3T Invictus prior to this purchase. While a terrific light, the Invictus is very large. The P3X fits conveniently in a pocket and is much easier for every day carry. Plus it is, if anything, even brighter on its high setting. It's definitely an attention-getter when you need one, and it lights up any area like Yankee Stadium. Its construction is as rugged as you can get, like all SureFire products; it can even be used to prop open heavy doors in an emergency with no damage other than a scratch on the finish. Great product, highly recommended, give it 5 stars.

Strong housing and extremely bright light. The run time seems quite long for a lamp this powerful. The low beam is adequate for many uses and the high beam is truly blinding. This lamp is for people who want a serious lamp and can't afford to have their lamp fail

Solid build. 10- year-old son dropped it and it was completely fine. I was worried, as he is a bit clumsy at times. Durable and bright, actually more bright than I actually need, but I like to be sure. I looked far and wide, reviewed many posts, and I am more than happy with my purchase. From home protection to tactical situations, I give the Fury 5 stars. As long as the warranty holds up, I think I am a lifetime customer. SureFire has confirmed my support of American made products.

Well worth the wait!
When I ordered my P3X they were out of stock. I understand why after receiving this pocket "Q Beam." I can imagine it is hard to keep them in stock. I am Assistant Chief at a VFD in Alaska. Scene lighting is always an issue in the wintertime (20 hours of darkness). I can't wait till winter to really put this thing through it's paces, it is not getting dark this time of year. So far it is as bright or even brighter than some headlights and searchlights. This is my 4th Surefire and I am still using them all.

So much light in a small package. Very bright, solid construction. Everything you would expect from SureFire.

Great for street patrol
I've worked nightshift on patrol for almost ten years and like many have seen the progression of illumination tools. I've owned many Surefire products both for hand and duty weapon(s). This by far is the APEX of what is out there today. The P3X Fury constantly illuminates when I need it most often drowning out other officers low lumen lights. The difference is instantly amazing. This one tool will illuminate an entire sedan size car interior as soon as you push in the tail cap. A dramatic improvement to OFFICER SAFTEY! I have also used it to blind a German Shepard so to safely make it back to my squad. Thanks Surefire! Keep producing products that help us help other and save lives.

Again, a great light. I work in a prison and the low beam helps on not waking the I/M's when doing security checks but when a whole lotta light is needed it will light up the whole cell. Even got the light to strobe (with some practice} when needed.
