This flashlight is a great product. I kept mine with me at all times. I was recently visiting a friend and she walked her dog in a not so great area, so I gave it to her. Now there can never be a shadow for someone to hide in. I definitely plan on buying a replacement soon! And you should buy it too!

Let me start by saying that surefire is my go to company, I recommend them to everyone, for all their products are top of the line in performance and durability. I love my fury it's the best light I have owned. I carry it with me daily everywhere I go, I don't feel likes it's cumbersome, everyone I show it to or who uses it is shocked that a flash light of this size is so bright, it's versatility with it 15 lumen low been is perfect for every day stuff but when you need that 500 it's there. It's urged and reliable it never quits, as long as you remember to change the batteries when needed. You can't beat the price you pay for the quality you get.

I have two - one for back up. For its size - this light is out of its league. This throws a nice wide beam at hi intensity and brings daylight to the scene. The battery life is reasonable and you get much light for a battery set. Its light weight, compact, and easy to actuate with either hand, single handed. Its also easy to hold and direct even when using a tool. It would be perfect if it had a bite piece to hold in your mouth without drooling. Love them

I have three SureFire flash lights and several SureFire Weapon lights. All are absolutely excellent products. The P2X Fury is probably the best of them all. I use it around the house regularly and especially like the feature that the low light setting comes on first rather than the high light setting as probably 90% of the time that provides sufficient light for what I am trying to see and greatly extends the battery life. With my Executive Defender that process is reversed but that light is really intended for a different purpose than just general illumination. I been using SureFire products for over fifteen years and have always found them to be the best available.

I have trouble clicking switch with the ball of my thumb. Have to adjust grip to use the end of my thumb. Otherwise typical quality flashlight from Surefire.

GREAT light. the ONLY thing I wish were better or redesigned was the on/off tailcap switch. With gloves on it's hard to activate it dim or bright and requires two hands.. Requiring a double click to get the bright setting is difficult. My thumb just doesn't bend far enough A. B. Maybe the switch is too protected by the rim around it. 6 C. You must depress it deeply to activate. With gloves it requires two hand for operations but I LOVE the compactness and ability to go dim or bright.

The fury has been a integral part in what I do, so many dark places to hide, as a security officer at a casino, most riff raff hides out there, shine a light like this, add a loud deep voice, your a cop! never without! Thank you, SureFire!

Light is good. bright, well powered. low power clicks on first, then high. I like the idea of the defender where high click first. to use this light defensively, you have to double click. poor design.

** Runtime (at highest setting for multiple-output

The P2X Fury uses a high-efficiency, virtually failure-proof LED to deliver your choice of either 15 or 500 lumens of perfectly focused light, the latter qualifying the Fury as a pocket-sized searchlight. The 15-lumen level is excellent for general work at close-to-medium distances, and also lets you greatly extend the runtime per set of batteries, a valuable option when you're miles from civilization. At either setting the high-strength polymer micro-textured reflector delivers a smooth, comparatively wide beam with a brighter central area and generous peripheral light. The Fury is activated with a click-type tailcap switch: press for momentary-on low, press further to click constant-on low; return to off and press or click on again within two seconds for high. The high-strength aerospace aluminum body is smoothly sculpted for a comfortable, secure grip and is hard anodized to military specifications for extreme resistance to scratches, abrasion, and corrosion.
