- Good not great
Light is good. bright, well powered. low power clicks on first, then high. I like the idea of the defender where high click first. to use this light defensively, you have to double click. poor design.

- P2X Fury
Great lite that I carried while hunting in Zimbabwe. While coming back to camp after a long day hunting late at night we encountered a huge area of tall grass that we had to drive thru with the headlights only showing where they were aimed as the grass was so tall we had no vision to the sides. Part way thru the field of grass with shear terror we heard the scream of elephants in the tall grass with one elephant suddenly crossing directly in front of the land cruiser very narrowly avoiding a collision. I climbed on top the safari vehicle and used my P2X to find the giant animals so we could find our way out of danger. Thanks for a great product.

- Very powerful
High setting is very powerful. Product has a sufficient low setting as well. Although the handle gets hot when using the high setting, it's still a great product. Great product.

- VERSATILE FLASHLIGHT
OVER THE YEARS I'VE COLLECTED OVER A DOZEN SUREFIRE FLASHLIGHTS. WE'VE ALL HEARD THE QUOTE, "ONLY TWO THINGS ARE CERTAIN, DEATH AND TAXES". WELL I'D LIKE TO ADD A THIRD, SUREFIRE RELIABILITY.
THE P2X FURY IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES AS IT COMBINES A SMALL SIZE, DUAL LIGHT INTENSITY, A LONG BATTERY LIFE AT THE LOW SETTING, AND HIGH LIGHT INTENSITY WHEN NEEDED IN A SMALL PACKAGE. IT'S RUGGED AND VERY DEPENDABLE. IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE THAT'S IMPORTANT!?

- Couldn't believe it
I first ran into a SureFire in Florida on a tarpon fishing trip. Our guide was coming in to pick us up early in the dark and I thought he was using a Q-Beam. When he pulled up I didn't see one and asked what he was using and he introduced me to the SureFire. I had to have one as I do a lot of boating and some at night. I never leave the dock without it and it's great any other time I need light.

Really simple! Best damn flashlight I have ever owned. Bright enough for a weapon in a VERY small size.

- Dual-Output & 500 Lumens
I own several Surefire flashlights and this is one of my most coveted one to date. It has the highest lumen rating of my collection and like most of my other flashlights dual-output. Having a very power flashlight has a specific purpose but not a primary purpose thus having dual-output allows this unit to be used more often with longer life for the batteries. The lockout tail cap is also very important feature to prevent unwanted activation. This two cell flashlight is very compact, has a smooth black finish that feels great in the hand, flat spots on the head to prevent rolling when laid on side, and has a fantastic beam spread that evenly spreads the light pattern sans any dead spots. I highly recommend this flashlight and feel it is reasonably priced for the quality craftsmanship and power it offers.

Love it; tough and durable. Pretty much all the elimination I need on low beam. The high beam allows me to see even the smallest house numbers from the car. Also appreciate the compact size.

This small flashlight puts out 500 lumens. I have used it on several occasions where I was descending a treacherous mountain trail at night. It made all the difference for safety. It is small but quite powerful with two levels of brightness. Well worth any price.

- Awesome Light
After buying one and using it I bought another. I keep one beside the bed for the things that go bump in the night and the other I put in my go bag. It is ridiculously bright, made solid, has great run time and an excellent piece of equipment to have when you need big light. Great job SUREFIRE!

The P2X Fury uses a high-efficiency, virtually failure-proof LED to deliver your choice of either 15 or 500 lumens of perfectly focused light, the latter qualifying the Fury as a pocket-sized searchlight. The 15-lumen level is excellent for general work at close-to-medium distances, and also lets you greatly extend the runtime per set of batteries, a valuable option when you're miles from civilization. At either setting the high-strength polymer micro-textured reflector delivers a smooth, comparatively wide beam with a brighter central area and generous peripheral light. The Fury is activated with a click-type tailcap switch: press for momentary-on low, press further to click constant-on low; return to off and press or click on again within two seconds for high. The high-strength aerospace aluminum body is smoothly sculpted for a comfortable, secure grip and is hard anodized to military specifications for extreme resistance to scratches, abrasion, and corrosion.
