Developed for the demands of wildland firefighters, the SureFire Minimus™ AA headlamp is powered by readily available AA alkaline or AA lithium batteries and features a high-efficiency LED that provides brilliant white light with adjustable output from zero to 100 lumens. Output is controlled by the knurled, no-slip right-hand control knob, which also has setting for a high-output SOS beacon. A proprietary refractive optic produces a wide beam optimized for your natural field of view, and provides considerable peripheral light to maximize situational awareness. Built from tough polymer and hard-anodized aerospace aluminum, the Minimus is lightweight, yet like its siblings the Minimus™, the Minimus™ Vision and the Minimus™ Tactical, it’s tough enough not only for the rigors of firefighting, but also for the rigors of combat, caving, and mountaineering. Minimus AA has an adjustable fine-weave headband fitted with a moisture-wicking Breathe-O-Prene® forehead pad, making it both strong and comfortable. Includes a convenient cloth storage bag.
