Turbohead Conversion For M500A and M511A Millennium Universal WeaponLights
Installing the KM501 Turbohead Conversion kit on your M500A or M511A alters these WeaponLights in three ways: (1) it increases the reflector diameter from 1.62 inches to 2.5 inches, which narrows the beam focus, dramatically increasing your WeaponLights effective range and blinding effect; (2) it provides two higher-output incandescent lamp assemblies (a 250-lumen lamp and a 500-lumen lamp, your choice on which to install), which, in conjunction with the larger reflector, further increases the range and blinding effect of the WeaponLight; and (3) it lengthens the battery housing, converting it from a 9-volt system (three-battery) to a 9-volt system (six-battery) in serial arrangement and parallel, which provides the additional power needed to operate the higher-output lamp assemblies. This conversion maximizes the light output and "reach" capabilities of your M500A or M511A.
