KX2C
The KX2C LED head generates 120 lumens of blinding, tactical-level white light. Used on the current Scout Light® WeaponLight, the KX2C can replace the older 100-lumen KL4 head. It also fits all 2-battery Executive series (E-model) flashlights as well as the L4 LumaMax flashlight. A Total Internal Reflection (TIR) lens focuses nearly all of the LED's light and produces a perfectly focused beam with enough reach for mid-range applications yet with plenty of surround beam for close-quarter work. As with all SureFire LED illumination tools, the KX2C is virtually impact- and recoil-proof since there's no filament to burn out or break, and it will perform for thousands of hours. Power regulation circuitry provides two hours of tactical-level light output on a set of two 123A SureFire lithium batteries. Constructed of hard-anodized aerospace-grade aluminum, a tempered Pyrex® window, and O-ring sealed to keep out moisture, dust, and dirt, the KX2C is built to withstand combat environments. Available in Black or Desert Sand Brown.
NOTE: White light LEDs produce negligible infrared radiation, therefore the KX2C cannot be combined with an IR filter for use with night vision devices (NVDs). For IR output, the Scout Light must be fitted with an LU60A incandescent lamp module and an FM63 IR filter.
