- AR 60 rocks
Though I've only put a couple cycles worth of rounds through this magazine it has worked flawlessly. Good craftsmanship. Pricey sure, but in this day an age...

Only fired one full mag at the range. After 40 rounds slow fire with no break I was getting some attention then a rapid fire of 20 more rounds and people were asking where they could get these magazines. I have never been in a firefight but I do feel confident that with four of these loaded mags in my vest and one in my Bushmaster I am prepared do my part if necessary.

I am the purchaser of three of the Sure Fire 60 mags. I have to say these are perfect. They are just the right size, not to heavy when loaded and they don't take away at all from the function of the firearms that I use them on. They are very high quality, even better then the Colt and Sig factory mags. If I could afford fifty of them, they would be in my safe. Do yourself a favor and get some.

This clip works GREAT - I wish you would put the 100 round clips on the general market - I can not find them anywhere I would buy some immediately.

Great product and great customer service. Even though it was on back order for several months, I was able to track my order on line.

Just can't get better than this! My rifle is semi-auto but had no problems with this magazine. Friend of mine saw it and ordered one too!

- Incredible Mag
I purchased 3 of the 60 Round SureFire mags almost 6 months ago, and I have not yet had a single problem. I am using this mag with a Bushmaster lower, a Titan Defense upper w/a (14.5" barrel), and shooting factory ammo. I have tried numerous brands of ammo, and have not had any malfunctions yet. I find them to be of high quality, and as reliable as any other mag I have used. I consider myself an avid shooter, sometimes gunsmith, and builder of 1911s and ARs. I do agree that they are rather heavy when loaded, of course, but with the weight centered as it is, the weight is not an issue. It is easy to load, and there is little difference in the pressure required to load round-one and round-sixty. It locks the bolt back in all four guns I have tested it in and is easy to take apart and clean. The price is alittle steep, but you get what you pay for. I would rather buy it right the first time. Instead of spending hundreds more qoing through all the other high cap mags that are garbage and then finally breaking down and purchasing Surefires Mag. I've have tried other high-capacity mags for AR's and none of them even come close to the quality and dependability that this Surefire mag shows.

The SureFire high-capacity magazine for 5.56x45 mm (.223 Remington) ammunition, also available in a 100-round version, is compatible with M4/M16/AR-15 variants and other firearms that accept standard STANAG 4179 magazines. Constructed from Mil-Spec hard-anodized aluminum, they feed smoothly and reliably due to optimal geometry, non-binding coil springs, and ingenious nesting polymer followers. The long-lasting springs are cadmium coated for low friction and excellent corrosion resistance. Magazines require no lubricants and can be easily disassembled without tools for cleaning.
SureFire High-Capacity magazines provide distinct tactical advantages: increased initial firepower in ambush situations; fewer reloads overall, which means less downtime and target distraction in a firefight; fast and easy magazine insertion, even with a closed bolt; less bulk compared to drum mags, enabling a normal weapon grip. The 60-round magazineslightly thinner than two 30-round magazines clipped together and about the same overall lengthfits in most dual magazine pouches, eliminating special carry pouches required for drum magazines.
