I bought two of these wrist lights during the cyber sale. I am a bit unsure about the purchase. They are somewhat awkward, but solidly built lighting tools. They are growing on me, and I thought about sending them back. But, the more I play with them, the more useful I believe they will be. I am an active outdoorsman, and I could envision myself using this item in all circumstances. It is very heavy duty, extremely well built, and BRIGHT. With the Surefire guarntee, you can't go wrong with their products. Buy it on sale, you won't be disappointed with the quality. Nice job Surefire.

First off, I purchased the 2211 during the half price promotion around Thanksgiving- "Thank You Surefire!"
I'm a do-it-yourself'er and have found the 2211 to be super handy while working on my truck, car or boat. The 2211 puts the light where
I need it and allows me to have both hands free to work. I have used a headlamp before with mixed results: uncomfortable and light not
where my hands are.
The 2211 is just as handy for doing home repairs in dark, tight places.
I have been wearing the 2211 when I'm outside at night and even when I go to bed. I like knowing that I can have instantaneous light
when I need it and have both hands free without having to fumble around looking for the flashlight, especially when the "Bad Guys" decide to help themselves to MY STUFF! Great Product!

The 2211 Wristlight has become my constant nighttime companion. The unit is actually smaller than I had thought, for me it wears easily and I have made it a practice to put it on when the sun goes down. I am out every night and live in an area where there is a potential for two legged as well as four legged "concerns." As a firearms and personal protection instructor I can see the WristLight used for both firearms use and unarmed use as its focused flood beam brightly illuminates a large area and blinds anyone on the receiving end. Well made, relatively comfortable to wear, and easy to use. Great product.

I am a CSI in a municipal police department. This tool has proven valuable for working with my camera, evidence collecting, and all else that's involved in getting dirty at a crime scene when you need a free hand. This product is pricey and I was fortunate to take advantage of black friday pricing. The intensity of the light is impressive and provides clean even lighting with no hotspots. It is bulky on the wrist but I've been using in every day carry.

I watched the videos of both models and viewed the images. The USB port is open to the elements. How weather resistant is this product? Weather can be a huge factor for the wearer if it's raining or snowing. Just a thought.

So far I am very pleased with my WristLight, with one major exception- the band. If you have a larger arm, and are wearing a long sleeve shirt, it barely fits. I have not even tried it yet with a heavy sweatshirt or jacket but I am not optimistic. I also do not like the watch band style adjustment, the stick you put thru the hole...Trying to adjust the WristLight with anything in your hands (ie. a firearm) during a critical situation could be a disaster.
I think a longer, Velcro style band would have been the ticket. And I hope that if you do come up with some type of upgrade, it will be available for people who have already purchased one.

This is a great product for tactical use as well as traditional SWAT/Law Enforcement use. But why is it so expensive? I mean I could make do with one of your less expensive flashlights and make my truck payment for the cost of this flashlight you wear on your wrist. Come on now,$500.00 for a wearable wrist flashlight? And your handgun lights are the same way. Very good product but is it really worth the huge amounts of cash your asking for almost all your products? I love your stuff and it is of the very best quality, but I don't think the price's match up with the product. That's just my opinion.Too bad I can't afford to buy most of your products that I'd really love to have, but not at your ridiculous prices. -Jay F

WristLight is great with one fatal flaw. There should be a lock or safety on the switch. It is very easily to accidentally turn the light on. Could cost you your life if it turns on at the wrong time. I would not buy this expensive product until they fix this.

This light is just about as handy as they come. It is an excellent addition to anyones lighting instruments. It is a little pricey but I feel worth it. A little bit more lighting intensity would have been nice but still a great product. It is a great addition also for not adding bulk to your handguns.

Developed with input from active-duty cops, the ambidextrous SureFire 2211 WristLight straps securely to your firearm support-hand wrist and utilizes a virtually indestructible high-performance LED and specially developed optic to unleash a wide, brilliant 200-lumen beam with a press of either of two ergonomic button-type switches. In close-quarter engagements this is more than enough light to overwhelm an aggressor's dark-adapted vision and properly identify and assess threats. Pressing either switch again within one second drops the output to 15 lumens, perfect for closer work while minimizing degradation of the user's dark-adapted vision. Another press of either switch turns the light off.
Light output can also be selected in the reverse order. Pressing both switches simultaneously gives 15 lumens of output; continuing to hold both switches down cycles the output to 60 lumens of powerful general-purpose illumination, then to 200 lumens. There is a .7 second interval between output changes.
The 2211 is constructed of lightweight hard-anodized aerospace aluminum and features an adjustable nylon band that is durable and holds the light securely in place. It is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery with a built-in LED fuel gauge that lets you know when it’s time to recharge—which is simply done by using the included USB cable. The 2211 was built for the streets but it’s available to anyone who demands an innovative, hands-free tactical-level illumination tool that can also serve as a handgun light when used with a normal firing stance.
