Description

XC1-B
XC1-B 084871326988

SureFire’s smallest and lightest weight WeaponLight has been upgraded to deliver more output and feature even more ergonomic switching. The new XC1-B was specially developed to equip compact railed handguns with a source of tactical white light, essential for concealed-carry and other applications. A special multi-faceted reflector shapes the high-performance, recoil-proof LED’s light into our wide, smooth MaxVision Beam™, which is ideal for closer-range identification of threats and situational awareness because this useful beam is also optimized for human vision.

The XC1-B’s robust but compact body is constructed of lightweight, strong aerospace aluminum hard anodized with a durable Mil-Spec finish, making the XC1-B plenty rugged enough for everyday carry. Measuring less than 2.5 inches long and weighing in at under two ounces, the rechargeable AAApowered XC1-B won’t weigh down a handgun, either.

Ambidextrous switching provides both momentary- and constant-on activation options. Momentary-on activation is achieved by placing your support hand thumb on top of either of the two rear downward-activated switches and pushing down. The XC1-B will stay in momentary mode for as long as either toggle switch is depressed and held in the on position beyond a fraction of a second. Constant-on activation is achieved by quickly tapping either one of the momentary switches. To turn off the constant on mode, quickly touch and release either toggle switch. It can also be achieved by using your support hand to push the center crossbar switch from left to right.

Features
  • Lightweight and ultra-compact; ideal for concealed-carry use
  • Securely attaches to most Universal-rail-equipped handguns
  • High-performance LED generates 300 lumens of tactical-level light
  • Improved constant-on activation by tapping either one of the momentary switches. To turn off, simply tap either one of the momentary switches again
  • Integrated ambidextrous momentary- and constant-on switching
  • High-strength aerospace aluminum body is hard anodized with a Mil-Spec finish for extreme durability
  • Rechargeable AAA NiMH battery (included); accessed from front-facing battery compartment
  • Gasket sealed; weatherproof

Perfect for my POU

Mounted this on my FNX-45 tactical and for me the biggest advantage of this light is Its compact and very lite. The FNX-45 is heavy enough, so for me this is the perfect weapon light for this pistol. Gotta say that Surefire even though more expensive is worth every penny IMO...

Add a laser and it would be absolutely perfect!

The XC1 is an awesome weaponlight. I have it on my Sig 229 and it adds almost no weight or size, and I was able to find many holsters to fit. It is easy to use and works perfectly every time. That said, if it had a laser also, it would absolutely dominate the market. There are so many light/laser combos out there, but none of this size and quality. Please Surefire, make an XC2 with a laser!

Fantastic Customer Service

I would like to start by saying I had to contact customer service upon receiving my XC1. I unfortunately received a defective one and one of the momentary switches does not work properly. I contacted surefire and spoke with an American tech support employee who i could easily understand and not have to decipher what they were saying due to a horrible accent. This is major to me. Not many places anymore like that. You normally reach a woman in India who has no idea the product your talking about. They sent he replacement switch out immediately no questions asked. For this I will continue to purchase there products even tho I was unlucky enough to receive probably one of the very few defective products of there's. Nothing is perfect in this world and someone has to get a bad item once and awhile. Again best customer service I have seen in a very long time. The light itself is fantastic other then the one defective momentary switch.

Best Concealed Carry Pistol Light

Have one on every compact pistol I own. It's the best pistol light for a concealed carry application in my opinion. Great size, great light, great spread, great fit, and plenty of holsters that are made to fit with XC1.

Retired LE

Outstanding light, allowed you to have illumination when carrying concealed. More than bright enough. New style attachment is a great innovation.
Highly recommend.

A new standard in WML's

I just picked up an XC1, probably will be going on my 19 except now I'll need a new holster. First World Problems. :D

The light is decently bright (200 lumens), compact (really appears to have been designed for compact type guns- G19, P320 carry, etc.), durable, and uses a single AAA battery (Surefire recommends use of a Lithium cell, which is included with your new light). It does not protrude past the muzzle like my Streamlight TLR1, which now feels like Karl Malden's nose jutting out there.

I think the XC1 has set the new standard for performance and size for the modern era of arry pistols and I would guess that the competition will either follow suit or be left in the dust.

Excellent light

I bought this light for my Springfield XD9 Mod 2 Subcompact, but it doesn't fit. Oops! Oh well, it works great on my Glock G19 Gen4.

Great light

Been on gun for a bit now. Been dropped multiple times from various heights. Heck it's even been used to mold a holster(300+ degree heat put to it.) not a single problem. Looksabsolutely amazing on my 19

Fantastic performance for the size!

Haven't had it for long, but I'm extremely impressed by the performance relative to the unbelievably small size! literally adds no length or width to my Glock 19. Also, the fact that it takes a single AAA battery is a huge plus for me.

Great light, EDS

I like this light for several reasons.
1. It's small and produces the right amount of light. Other Surefire lights are like spotlights in the room....way too bright!!
2. It uses a commonly available battery, AAA.
3. It's size gives you NO EXCUSE to not carry a ligth on the pistol you are carrying, hopefully everyday.
4. I'm former MIL and I only trust Surefire lights, when it comes down to it.
