- It's great
I have it on an 18 year old 6P. I keep it flipped open on nightstand. This keeps the 6P from rolling. When I need to move around at night, I flip down the filter and don't trash my night vision or disturb my wife. Fits perfect and is removable so I can put it on my different Sure Fires.

It is a friction fit with the bezel and it stays tight once you put it on so it is somewhat difficult to remove but not too bad. The lens flips open of course so you can use either the white light or the red cover by opening or closing the flip-top. I have some concerns about how long that feature will last though... With use it has gotten easier to open and close (which isn't all bad, at first it was quite difficult to open and I had to push it against a table to close) but I think that the ring and grove which hold it shut could eventually wear out and then it wouldn't stay shut. The hinge is spring loaded so when you open the top it springs all the way open and stays out of the way and that is a nice feature. My final concern is that the lens cover and lens are just plastic and the only thing holding the lens in place on the inside are some small plastic tabs and it seems that a blow to the lens when the cover is closed could pop the lens right out of place breaking the tabs.
