- click-on tail cap switch
I bought this to replace the momentary tailcap switch on my 6P flashlight. Very handy when I'm troubleshooting on top of the elevator. I've upgraded my 6P to LED and brightness of the LED light is a plus in a confined space. Better than a 60 watt lamp.

Excellent upgrade for my flashlight. Does what it was intended to do and I recommend it!

Does what it is supposed to do. I think flashlight should have came with this cap. Trying to twist the cap when approaching a vehicle on a traffic stop isn't tactical. Texture matching the orignal cap would be nice, the texture on this is rough, removing the light from the carry requires a little more effort.

- Z59 - Again!
I have bought a bunch of these Z59 tailcap switches to retrofit both new and older lights. I much prefer the operation of push the button to keep the light on over the rotate the tailcap option. Generally rotating the tailcap requires one to temporarily lose sight of whatever was lit up a moment ago. Often I do not want to lose sight of whatever I am illuminating, not even for an instant. Think bears!
I have just purchased a second Fury combatlight, and I bought yet another Z59 to replace the rotate only tailcap that comes with the light.
As expensive as these are, I wish SureFire would offer their lights with this type of tailcap switch as original equipment. In the meantime, the Z59 is a great answer for what I want.

- Better than the original
Recently I bought a new tail-cap on/off switch for my Z28 flashlight.
The flashlight has been around forever and used hard. The new tail-cap won't allow the light to be turned on and left on,; it only comes on when one is holding it in. This prevents turning it on and leaving it on too long, using up the batteries. I'm glad Surefire sells parts for old flashlights. God forbid I have to actually buy a new one.

Works like it's supposed to. Push the button it turns on. Push it again it turns off. Genious

- Enhanced usability
I added the Z59 "clickie" tailcap to a Nitrolon G2. It allows one-hand operation to turn the light on momentarily or to turn it on steady.
I alos like this setup for a weapons light.

- Love these Clickable Caps
Bought this cap for wife's G2 Led as she and I are both getting older, alas! Makes function much easier. I had put another on my Old, Old, Old G2Z that I also converted to Led back when. Great for stand alone use or using Harries technique for indexing gun and light. Surefires never die! I just upgrade them with LEDs and these caps, stuff them in glove compartment of Jeep and wife and I have spare lights, just in case. Since we both have permits and Texas allows carry of more than one handgun, we believe in redundant safety equipment. Thanks to Surefire. we always see what we need to. Well done, gentlemen and women.

The Z59 switch gives you both momentary or constant-on flashlight activation without having to rotate the tailcap, as is the case with our classic tactical switch. Push lightly on the tailcap for momentary activation, push harder to "click" the light into constant-on mode, click again for off. Precision machined aerospace-grade aluminum construction, MilSpec Type III hard anodized in black. Lock-out feature prevents accidental activation of light during tactical engagements, transportation, or storage.
