The Sr. Network & Systems Administrator will be a part of the IT Support team who will be responsible for contributing toward the systems and database server management and the design, architecture and comprehensive support of WAN, LAN, Active Directory, DNS, Network Security, Telecommunications, Wireless, and Network Management tools. This includes planning, specification, implementation, administration and maintenance of equipment services for all the above responsibilities in the SureFire infrastructure.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide support in designing, architecting and managing Cisco-based Routers, Switches, Security Solutions, Wireless Solutions and Network Management Solutions across WAN/LAN.
  • Provide recommendations on architectural changes and design enhancements to the infrastructure to improve reliability and performance, reduce cost, and anticipate Company growth.
  • Deploy, configure and maintain a proactive Network Monitoring System leveraging available tools in order to maintain and track Network important metrics.
  • Perform ongoing Network fine tuning, upgrades and enhancements to optimize Network performance, availability, stability and security.
  • Support Cisco Routers for LAN/WAN connectivity, which includes connections to the internet, remote offices, and remote users.
  • Monitor and troubleshoots LAN and WAN connections, monitors bandwidth use, analyzes traffic patterns and volumes for use in ongoing systems design and improvement.
  • Responsible for all network protocols and services (HTTP, TCP/IP, SMTP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
  • Configure, test, install, and maintain firewall, routers, switches and other networking technology.
  • Perform problem determination on servers, computers, and computer related software and hardware, peripherals, networks, and communication devices and identify alternative cost-effective solutions to correct any problems.
  • Monitor and resolve performance issues related to networks, client configuration, server hardware, and systems and applications software, ensuring the stability and reliability of the LAN/WAN network infrastructure. Optimize the performance of database systems through load balancing techniques and data storage area re-structuring.
  • Monitor internet/intranet/extranet usage, traffic, and security to protect the integrity, confidentiality and availability of company information. Effectively and efficiently address any outstanding issues
  • Apply solid problem-solving techniques consistent with an advanced knowledge of technical and operational issues involving Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange 2003/2007, Windows Server 2008, SQL Server, Microsoft Hyper-V, Microsoft RDS and NetApp SAN.
  • Configure, test, install and maintain servers.
  • Assist in the acquisition and installation of hardware and systems.
  • Provide regularly scheduled maintenance on all IT servers and networking equipment.
  • Maintain an effective backup strategy for all data ensuring data recovery capability.
  • Use good business judgment in determining work priorities in a multi-tasking environment with changing priorities.
  • Maintain good attendance and punctuality.
  • Maintain a positive and respectful attitude; cooperate with co-workers, management, internal and external customers, as applicable. Report any incidents of harassment to your Supervisor, Manager or Human Resources Manager.
  • Work safely at all times and report any unsafe conditions or injuries to your Supervisor or Manager immediately.
  • Other duties, as assigned by supervision or management.


Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field and certifications for CCNP, CISSP, MCSE (required), MCDBA, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in Microsoft O/S installation and support and providing LAN/WAN network services.
  • A minimum of 8 years of Networking and Systems Administration experience.
  • Ability to methodically troubleshoot network issues and employ network monitoring tools, application and perimeter scans and sniffing technology to analyze and present assessments.
  • Ability to resolve data storage and database performance issues.
  • Ability to execute test plans and procedures to ensure the proper functioning of hardware and software prior to implementation cutover.

Job Description:

This Welder fabricates and welds tubular parts and assemblies using high temperature alloys utilizing TIG welding process.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Set up and weld tubular and sheet pre-fitted parts made of high temperature alloys using the TIG welding process, hand tools, clamps, jigs and fixtures.
  • Perform lathe/manual cosmetic welding.
  • Weld in multiple types of alloys (ie.inconel, titanium, etc.).
  • Perform sales order data entry and processing in Vantage to track all incoming sales and request for quotes by answering all incoming request via telephone, email, and fax.
  • Work from specifications, drawings, blueprints, welding symbols and work instructions.
  • Select appropriate electrodes, tips and rods depending upon metal/alloy.
  • Welding of flange and small sub-assemblies, plumbing, tees and fittings.
  • Maintain good attendance and punctuality.
  • Maintain a positive and respectful attitude; cooperate with co-workers, management, internal and external customers, as applicable. Report any incidents of harassment to your Supervisor, Manager or Human Resources Manager.
  • Execute daily process improvement using lean manufacturing methodologies.
  • Maintain work area by the use of 5 S principles (Sort, Sweep, Straighten, Sanitize “Clean”, Sustain).

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED and up to two years related experience (lead experience preferable).
  • Must pass annual welding certification test.
  • Must have a current Certificate of Welding (TIG, MIG, ArcTubular Purge, Thermal Arc Prowave).
  • Journeyman experience a plus.
  • Must be able to read and interpret blue prints to layout, assemble / fabricate.
  • Familiar with ISO 9001 and Lean Manufacturing principles.

Production Team Member / Debur Technician

Job Description:

The Production Member / Debur Technician performs highly repetitive types of cycle machine operations associated with quantity production of identical units. Handles day to day maintenance of machines. May perform one or more of the following.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs routine semi-skilled work on a variety of machines including but not limited to: Bead Blast and Tumbler, Debur, EDM, Laser Engraver, OD Grander, Coating Machine.
  • Starts and stops the machine, and watches for imperfect operation. Runs more than one machine at a time to avoid large quantities of bad parts to catch broken tooling.
  • Speeds, feeds and tooling are ordinarily prescribed. In case of trouble, problems are called to the attention of a Lead person or a supervisor to explain what happened and then train the individual to avoid problem from happening in the future.
  • Maintains the machine tools coolant, and maintains coolant level and concentricity by looking at tools and oil and using the equipment to see it to run good parts to avoid costly repair due to negligence.
  • Identify slight fluctuations and communicate to Team Lead any problems with materials or assembly procedures that may affect the production quality or production flow by visually or mechanically inspecting parts prior to or during assembly or production process.
  • Cleans and maintains the machine tools and peripheral equipment, including filters, collets, chip conveyors, oil skimmers, and the shop floor itself by using the cleaning equipment to maintain and organize a safe.
  • Perform work to current standardized work and look for continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Follow safe work practices at all times including the maintaining and disposal of hazardous materials.
  • Maintain work area by the use of 5S Principles (Sort, Sweep, Straighten, Sanitize “Clean”, Sustain).
  • If forklift certified, may handle and store the raw and scrap materials, using a forklift for safety and insurance purposes.
  • Must be flexible to change in job functions and willing to be cross trained.
  • Support team members and problem solving small group activities.
  • Maintain good attendance and punctuality.
  • Maintain a positive and respectful attitude; cooperate with co-workers, management, internal and external customers, as applicable. Report any incidents of harassment to your Supervisor, Manager or Human Resources Manager.

Requirements:
