Reach For The Sky. A classic SureFire design, the dual-output Aviator flashlight features a primary white LED and secondary colored LED in one sealed head, both focused into a useful beam with ample reach and surround light by our proprietary Total Internal Reflection (TIR) lens. Pull and twist Aviator’s self-locking selector ring to set it to white or colored light, no filter required; a system-disable setting prevents accidental activation. Show your discriminating attitude at any altitude.
Choose from four separate models:
Amber improves contrast and does not degrade scotopic or night adapted vision
Blue clearly defines shapes outdoors and helps identify blood and hydraulic fluid
Red improves contrast and aids in reading red-light-readable topographic maps

    I am a professional business jet pilot, and my job takes me through a variety of environments. This flashlight is one of the best I've ever used for my job. It is brilliantly designed to be on low lumen setting first, and then high. Very useful for when I'm working in the cockpit of the jet at night while at the same time preserving my adapted night-vision. It has survived the hottest desert evenings during my pre-flight, all the way to absolute subzero temperatures at night in some of the coldest places I travel to. This light has never failed me once. My only complaint is the absolutely absurd price point of $300 for this thing. It makes me scared to lose it, but yes, it is worth every penny. If it was a bit more affordable I'm sure a lot more pilots like myself would love to keep this in their flight bag.

    Very reliable, very durable, built like a tank and very tight tolerances. I applied a little 100% pure silicone treadmill spray in the crevice, tail down, and carefully covering the bezel to avoid getting any on the lens, now works like a well-oiled good ol' falshioned American machine! Good value. I bought the Amber and gave that to my family. Now I am buying the AVIATOR-YG for myself. Thank you to SureFire®.

    Purchased Amber Aviator. Very pleased with design, fit and finish, size, quality of every part, and fast and secure shipping by SureFIre.The size of a single 123A cell with the pure white beam output of a 2 cell light. Amber color tint is accurate. Runtime is Superb. The innovation of these new 2017 model Surefire flashligts really shine through. The TIR focused beam is smooth and artifact-free. The selection of LED is perfect.This new Aviator® model is innovative and of the highest SureFIre® quality. I would not hesitate to trust my life with this light!
