| Firefighting Light Takes the Heat |
I just got my new SureFire G2L-FYL a week ago. I'm not a rescue professional, but I use it for camping.
My friends and I were camping, and we made a campfire. When we got the fire going, we where goofing off, and my flashlight fell out of my pocket and went into the middle of the blazing campfire. We tried to put the fire out, but it took four minutes to get the fire completely out. I was expecting for the light to be melted, but, to my surprise, the flashlight was only a bit black and it still worked. Even the batteries survived the heat.
