| Earthquake Creates A SureFire Fan |
During the 1994 Northridge earthquake, my wife and I lived upstairs in an apartment, which shook us out of our bed and pinned us under the dresser. After pulling ourselves out, I searched for a flashlight so we could make our way downstairs. Finally I found a long black one, which we'd stuck away for just such an emergency, only to find that the batteries were dead and leaking all over. I told my wife then and there that we'd never again be in that situation.
I searched for months to find the right flashlight, finally deciding upon the FBI-issued SureFire Z2 CombatLight®. My wife bought it for me for my birthday and, wow, was I happy. I now own six: the Z2, E1L, M4, E2e, L5, and G2®. I recently bought my Dad the perfect Father's Day Gift: his own G2® LED. I know he will use it for a long time and will come to depend on it as we do ours.
