Cruel & Unusual Punishment
No ordinary flashlight should be expected to endure this kind of abuse. And SureFire is certainly no ordinary flashlight.

I'm a San Francisco cable car gripman, and I've tried all sorts of other flashlights, but none of them can stand up to SureFire. I recently dropped my C3 (with an LED KL5A conversion head) underneath my cable car, and it rolled onto the tracks and wedged itself between the rail and the car wheel. I was blocking traffic, so I made the very difficult decision to proceed forward.
At first, the cable car wouldn't even move, because the light was acting as a wheel block. Finally, the car climbed up and over the light-a cable car weighs 30,000 lbs. When I pulled the light out from underneath the car, the lens was shattered and the LED head had a nasty crease in it, but, not surprisingly, the light fired right up when I turned it on.
