Big Buck Bagged
I was tracking an 11-point buck during the 2007 muzzleloader season, and I was in very thick cover in northern Wisconsin, with temperatures down to -18° F (-28° with wind-chill factor). I started with what I thought was plenty of daylight, but it quickly became apparent that I was turned around in the dark. I reached for a granola bar in my jacket pocket when I noticed my E2D Defender® was in my pocket too. Not only did my light save me during that bad weather in the dark, I was also able to retrieve the buck and find a logging road, which led me home. What could have ended in tragedy, ended with me safely home—with the biggest buck I've ever harvested.
