There have been numerous reported incidents of counterfeit and/or inferior batteries exploding or catching fire. The use of inferior batteries or counterfeit brands could damage your SureFire product, constitute a safety hazard, and will void your SureFire warranty.
SureFire recommends the use of only SureFire-brand 123A lithium batteries or those manufactured by Panasonic®, Energizer®, and Duracell®. However, do not use any batteries marked "Photo" or "Camera" in SureFire illumination tools.
